This keenly anticipated development heralds a new era for North America’s electric vehicle (EV) battery production.

Led by CEO Danies Lee, NextStar Energy marks this event as a seismic advancement. The company is poised to make waves in the EV sector by tapping into its team’s exceptional skills and unwavering commitment to innovative energy solutions. Once fully operational, the Windsor plant will feature an impressive annual production capacity of 49.5 gigawatt-hours, enough to energize approximately 450,000 vehicles each year. Construction of the Windsor facility has shifted into high gear since its inception in 2022, employing over 7,500 Canadian tradespeople and contributing nearly 5.7 million work hours. The project’s dedication is evident with an average daily workforce of over 2,000 tradespeople.
